Directions:
Prepare the necessary components.
Cut two apples into eight equal pieces. Remove them by carefully slicing out the seeds. Slice each of the eight pieces in half. In a medium-sized pan, heat the oil to a medium-high temperature.
Microwave the butter until it has melted. Slices of apple can now be added to the mix. Water, lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar should then be added. Stir the items together to ensure that they are uniformly distributed and incorporated into the apples. Let it simmer for a while before removing the top.
Add one egg and one cup of sugar to a bowl and stir. Toss with a whisk until well blended. Add butter and sour cream to the mixture now. After that, continue whisking until everything is properly blended. Add the flour and mix until a dough forms. If the batter is too thick, add more milk. Make sure everything is well-combined.
The apples should be boiling when you’re ready to add the batter. Spread the batter evenly over the apples with a spatula. Allow it to simmer for 10–12 minutes on a low heat setting.
Turn the pie over so that the apples face you. Transfer the pie to a serving dish and savor every mouthful!
