This apple fritter stuffed pull-apart bread recipe by Tasty on YouTube is quick, simple, and easy to follow along with. I love how this is made from canned biscuits because they’re so easy to make. Tasty makes cooking videos and has recipes that are great for beginners for those that want to bake. I love the presentation of this apple fritter bread and the icing gives a nice touch. The idea of this pull-apart bread is fun because it serves as finger food. I’ve never seen apple fritters made this way, so I think it’s interesting to want to recreate this recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 4 Granny Smith apples, diced
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1½ teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 3 cans biscuit dough
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3-4 tablespoons milk

Directions:

First, preheat oven to 350F, and grease bundt pan. Combine apples, butter, brown sugar, lemon juice, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and cornstarch in a large saucepan. Cook the apples over medium heat while stirring occasionally, until the apples have browned and softened. The sauce needs to thicken.

Overall, I would love to make this recipe for the holidays, and it’s a different way to make apple fritters. This would be a fun sweet snack to make for the kids because of the pull-apart effect this bread has.
