I love American flag cakes because they include the top two of my favorite fruits: strawberries and blueberries. I love the simple look of the cake, and I’ve always wanted to make these but never have. Not a lot of my family members like sweets, so I’ll be left with a ton of cake left. This American flag cake is great for large gatherings or a get together after shooting fireworks on a nice barbeque dinner night. This type of cake isn’t heavy or too filling where you’ll feel gross after eating.
