Is it really possible to poach eggs in the air fryer? Yes, it is! This simple tutorial by Jane’s Cooking Diary will show you how to make one.
If you think you’ll add the egg directly to the basket, no, you won’t. You’ll need baking tins for this cooking method. If you don’t have a stovetop, this is a great alternative to make your favorite eggs. The procedure is almost the same as cooking them in a pot.

This cooking technique will make perfect poached eggs every time. It’s super easy and quick. Even if you don’t have any experience poaching eggs, they will still turn out amazing. Serve them over savory oatmeal, salad, avocado toast, bacon toast, roasted vegetables, open-faces sandwiches, or burger patty. Enjoy!
Place a colander or strainer over a bowl.
Crack an egg and pour it directly into the colander. Shake it lightly to release the liquid part of the egg white.
Add one tablespoon of vinegar to your baking tin. Fill it with hot water until it’s about 2/3 of the baking tin.
Carefully put the egg into the vinegar-water mixture.
Repeat the same process with the second egg.
Preheat your air fryer to 392F. Once hot, add the baking tins to the basket. Be careful not to burn yourself.
Set the temperature to 392F and air fry for 6 minutes.
After 3 minutes, remove the basket, then carefully loosen the egg from the baking dish with a spoon. Place it back, then continue air frying for 3 minutes more.
Carefully remove from the baking tins. Serve on top of your toast and enjoy!
