Hot Cheetos and pickles may sound like an odd combination, but they look so delicious if you do like the two snacks. ToshPointFro on YouTube shows how to make her popular Hot Cheetos fried pickle recipe in the air fryer. The crunch on the pickles adds the perfect finish to them if you want to try something different. This is such an easy recipe to follow along and recreate, and I know I would love this.

Ingredients:

  • Party size Flamin’ Hot Cheetos
  • stackers dill pickles
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp season all seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp blackening season
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • milk
  • cooking spray

Directions:

First, layout 3 plates or containers for your breading process. Grind up all of the Hot Cheetos in the food processor. Add it to the container. Then, add the flour with cajun seasoning, season all, cayenne pepper, and paprika to another container. The final container will be the egg wash that has a dash of milk in it. Take the pickle and coat it in flour, egg wash, and the Hot Cheetos dust last.

Next, spray the air fryer bucket with cooking spray so it does not stick to the actual pan. Add the Hot Cheetos pickle into the air fryer and air fry at 390F for 9 minutes. Flip the pickles halfway through cooking.

Overall, this would be a great snack to have and the Hot Cheetos adds a nice breading to the pickle instead of plain flour with seasoning. This idea of Hot Cheetos pickles is perfect because I love Hot Cheetos and pickles. They would taste amazing if I dip them in ranch, so I can’t wait to try this out for myself. It’s interesting to see how red and delicious the Hot Cheetos gives off to the pickles.
