Just in case you don’t know how great an air fryer is, then let me tell you that you can make your garlic bread without the help of an oven but with an air fryer! Can’t believe it? Well, neither can I when I first saw this video tutorial by Yummy Yummy on YouTube. But when I tried and tested it, I was beyond impressed, so was my family when I made them taste it. They even asked me for more but with cheese next time.

Ingredients:

Dough

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Warm milk
  • 1 tsp Yeast
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Butter, melted

Garlic Butter Filling

  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • ¼ cup (60 grams) Butter, unsalted
  • ¼ tsp Salt

Directions:

Step 1

Pour the all-purpose flour into a large mixing bowl and set aside. Get 1 cup of warm milk and reserve 1 tablespoon for later, then pour the remaining in a separate cup or smaller mixing bowl. Add yeast, salt, garlic powder, and sugar, mix it until all ingredients are incorporated then pour it into the bowl of all-purpose flour, then a little bit more milk. Mix it by using your hand until it turns into a dough. Sprinkle flour on a flat surface, then transfer the dough and add melted butter over it. Roll and knead the dough until it turns smooth, then pour the reserved milk onto the dough. Grease a large bowl with butter and transfer the dough on it, let it rest, and rise for 30 minutes while covered.

Step 2

Mince the garlic cloves and parsley, then put them onto a cup or small mixing bowl. Add cold butter and salt, then mix it until well combined. Place the rested dough on a floured flat surface, then cut it into two and roll each into a ball. Flatten each round dough with a rolling pin, then spread the top with the garlic butter mixture, fold the dough in half. Spread the top with more garlic butter mixture, then leave it to rest for 20 minutes while covered. Slice the top of the bread in a slanted direction, then transfer them onto a 1 minute preheated air fryer at 400°F. Bake them at 350°F for 10 minutes then serve.
