This cheese egg bacon toast would save so much time and effort in the morning if you are running late or lazy. The recipe by Easy Peasy Pan on YouTube shows how to make it in the air fryer in under 10 minutes. It’s a simple recipe for breakfast that has all of the traditional ingredients. Plus, there are no pans that are needed to be washed after because I line my air fryer basket with aluminum foil. Also, you can add other ingredients such as spinach or sliced tomatoes on the side. I like my eggs over easy so I would have to closely watch the toast in the fryer to make sure it isn’t overcooked or undercooked.

Ingredients:

  • Bread
  • 2 Piece smoked beef bacon (You can use any kind of bacon you like)
  • 1 Egg
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Salt & black pepper as needed
  • Dried parsley, optional

Directions:

First, take a cup or container that has a round bottom and place it in the center of the bread to mold the circle.

Next, add the mozzarella cheese around the edge of the center and place the bacon in an “x”. Crack the egg in the center of the bread and season with salt and pepper. Cook at 360F for about 7 minutes or until the bacon and egg are cooked to how you like.

Overall, this bacon egg toast looks delicious, but it can be cooked easily on the stove too if preferred. Whether if it’s cooked in a pan or air fryer, they would both take about 10 minutes. Sometimes cooking each of the ingredients separately can take some time, but I like how it’s all on one toast. Also, you can place another toast on top to make it into a breakfast sandwich.
