Who doesn’t love the bloomin’ onion from Outback Steakhouse? The very first time I had a bloomin’ onion from Outback, I fell in love with it, and I especially loved the dipping sauce. The only thing I don’t like about a bloomin’ onion is the deep-fried part, lol! I have been looking for a bloomin’ onion recipe that is not deep-fried for years, then I finally hit the jackpot! When I found this excellent air fryer bloomin’ onion recipe by Kelly’s Cookin’ on Youtube, I really knew this recipe was for me, and Kelly has this recipe down pat. The air fryer recipe that Kelly came up with is completely authentic in every detail, from the way you cut and prep your onion to the wonderful dipping sauce that tastes exactly like the original one that I had at Outback Steakhouse, but without all that grease!
In this excellent air fryer bloomin’ onion recipe by Kelly’s Cookin’ on Youtube, you will learn to make this delicious bloomin’ onion in a couple of easy steps. You start by cutting your onion in the leaf shape and submerging it in boiling water for 1 minute. Then coat the onion in the egg wash and flour mixture.
