Are you a fan of banana bread? Did you know you can easily make one with just an air fryer? Yes, you can! You no longer have to go to your local bakery or cafe! Here’s Kelly’s Cookin‘s easy banana bread recipe. It’s incredibly soft and delicious. Plus, it’s super simple to prepare.
Whenever I don’t want to use our oven and only want to make a small batch, I use this air fryer recipe. It always comes out perfect. If you have very ripe bananas sitting on your counter, this recipe is the way to go.

This easy banana bread recipe only requires simple pantry ingredients. You need ripe bananas, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda, butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. For mix-ins, you can choose from nuts, dried fruits, or chocolate chips. Serve it with cream cheese, softened butter, or honey.

Peel the bananas and place on a plate. Mash with a fork, then set aside.
In a bowl, add 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 stick of softened unsalted butter. Whisk until nice and creamy.
Add 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of milk. Mix until well combined. Next, add the eggs one by one mixing after every addition.
Add half of the mashed bananas and mix well.
In a different bowl, add all-purpose flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix all the dry ingredients.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until well combined. Stir in walnuts and chocolate chips now if adding.
Grease a 9×5-inch pan with cooking spray. Transfer the mixture and spread evenly.
Place the pan inside the basket and air fry at 320F for 30 minutes or more. To check if it’s done, insert a toothpick in the center. If it comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs, it is done.
Once done baking, remove from the air fryer and let it cool completely.
