Air Fryer bacon is so delicious because you are not cooking it laying in a vat of grease. The bacon you make in an air fryer comes out perfectly cooked and not the least bit excessively oily. Cooking bacon in the air fryer is akin to cooking it on a baking sheet in the oven except for the fact you can cook t without ruining a perfectly good looking baking sheet and turning it into a baked-on mess. The air fryer cooks your bacon evenly and makes it perfectly crispy without those strange bits that seem to get overcooked in one area and undercooked in another. In fact, there are so many reasons to use the air fryer for cooking bacon, but my favorite reason is that you don’t get splattered by popping grease and potentially injured by the whole cooking process. There have been many times I have been downright injured from my bacon and that certainly puts a damper on the enjoyment of your meal. The ingredients are the same as frying, you will only need some bacon and an air fryer.
First, you are going to preheat your air fryer for 12 minutes on 360 degrees. Then you have your bacon prepped on the air fryer tray with a layer of aluminum foil underneath (to make for an easy clean up), then cook for 10 minutes, then open the air fryer and turn over the bacon and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
Then you will remove the lovely thick-cut bacon and bacon and drain the excess oil off by laying the bacon on some paper towels.
I am in love with my air fryer, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
