Pillsbury has some of the coolest recipes when it comes to canned biscuits, crescent rolls, or anything pre-made pastry. There are so many unique ways such as making cinnamon roll bites in an air fryer while using a can of cinnamon rolls. This recipe by Pillsbury is fun to watch because it takes less than 10 minutes to make these sweet treats that are good for breakfast or a midday snack. There’s no need for the oven or stove either. Plus they are fun bite-sized for kids. This would be fun to make if you want to switch up on the traditional baking of cinnamon rolls in the oven. I think it would be cool to try out and see what they taste like.

  • 1 can (12.4 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Icing:

  • 4 oz (half of 8-oz package) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 teaspoons milk

First, cut out parchment paper to place at the bottom of the air fryer basket. Take the cinnamon rolls out of the can and cut each roll into 4 equal pieces. Place the cinnamon bite pieces in the air fryer. Set the temperature to 325F, and cook for 3 minutes. Flip the pieces around and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.

Overall, I think this is a cool way to make cinnamon rolls. Instead of baking it in the oven, this is a quick, easy way to snack on these sweet treats. I love the concept of cooking them in an air fryer without having it deep-fried in oil. There still is a crispy texture from frying it in an air fryer, and it’s healthier.
