I love everything cowboy, so when I saw this wonderful cowboy coffee video tutorial by Cowboy Kent Rollins on YouTube, I fell in love with the idea of this rustic style coffee, This coffee is so real and stout, it harks back to the days of riding the range across the prairies of the old west. Cowboy Kent tells us all about the origins of cowboy coffee and explains why many think it is too stout. Kent assures us, if you make it exactly as he does, it will be really smooth and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • Coffee
  • A large cowboy coffee pot (that sits on the stove burner)
  • Water (for cooking)
  • Coldwater (for pouring in at the end to get grounds to go to the bottom)

Directions:

In this wonderful cowboy coffee video tutorial by Cowboy Kent Rollins on YouTube, you will learn how Cowboy coffee is made by a real cowboy who serves the ranch hands in the mess tent. The directions are really simple to follow, this is basically coffee made with no coffee filter. You will just put the water in your cowboy coffee pot and add your coffee when it starts to boil.

Then you will pour cold water into your coffee when it reaches it’s desired strength, to force all the coffee grains to the bottom.
