Paula Deen has to be my favorite TV cooking expert of all time. In this wonderful video tutorial, she makes a simple Southern-style corn casserole as only she can. Paula knows her Southern food and is an absolute delight to watch. This is a really simple recipe and as Paula says, “It’s embarrassingly simple y’all”, lol. Paula really gets her groove on with this corn casserole and makes the entire thing in a matter of minutes.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of niblet corn
- 1 can of cream style corn
- 1 box of Jiffy cornbread mix (or any instant cornbread mix)
- 1 cup of sour cream
- 1 stick of melted butter
- 1 cup of grated cheddar cheese
Directions for Making Homemade Corn Casserole:
In this wonderful corn casserole recipe tutorial by Paula Deen, she will show you how to make the easiest casserole you have ever seen. You start by adding your ingredients to a big mixing bowl.
Then, you will bake the casserole for forty to forty-five minutes and take it out and add 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese to the top and place the casserole back in the oven till the cheese is melted.
