To make this recipe, you need the four berries, cornstarch, vanilla cake mix, and butter. If you count them all, there are only 7 ingredients. You don’t need water or anything else. The best thing about this recipe is that it does not require a mixing bowl. Everything goes straight to your slow cooker. Serve it warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
In the bottom of your slow cooker, add 1 cup of raspberries, 1 cup of blueberries, 1 cup of strawberries, and 1 cup of blackberries. Spread evenly.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of cornstarch and gently mix until well incorporated.
Pour the cake mix on top of mixed berries, making sure everything is covered.
Place sliced butter on top of the cake mix.
Place the lid of the slow cooker and cook on high for 2 1/2 to 3 hours until the cake is fully cooked.
Scoop into your dessert bowl and top with vanilla ice cream. Serve and enjoy!
