Yes, you can make your own chips with your air fryer. Homemade chips are so much healthier than store-bought ones that contain a ton of preservatives and salt. To make these apple chips, you only need apples and cinnamon. Those are the only ingredients you need. The apples are naturally sweet and delicious, so there’s no need to add sugar or other flavorings.

Easy Air Fryer Apple Chips Ingredients

  • 2 honeycrisp apples or any apples you prefer
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

How to Make Air Fryer Apple Chips

Step 1:

Using a mandoline, thinly slice Honeycrisp apples about 1/8″ thick. Alternatively, you can use a knife – just be sure to cut them in the same sizes as much as possible.

Step 2:

Transfer the thinly sliced apples to a large bowl or baking sheet, then sprinkle cinnamon on top.

Step 3:

Air fry them in batches. Add some seasoned apple slices to your air fryer basket. Spread them in a single layer, making sure the basket is not overcrowded. Cook for about 14 to 18 minutes at 300F. Make sure to flip the apple slices halfway through the cooking time.
