Cook your rice as normal, then allow it to cool. Transfer it into a microwave and freezer-safe container. Put on the lid and place it in the freezer for up to 3 months.
Remove it from the freezer, then take off the lid. Sprinkle one to two tablespoons of water. Damp the paper a little bit, then use it to cover the top of the rice.
Place in the microwave. Microwave for one minute for a small portion and two to three minutes for a larger portion. Remove the paper towel and fluff up the rice with a fork.
Put the damp paper towel back on then microwave again for 1 to 3 minutes. Once done, remove the paper towel and allow it to stand for 1 to 2 minutes. Fluff it with a fork one last time and it’s ready to serve.
