Believe it or not, you only need 6 ingredients for this recipe – peanut butter, honey, cornflakes, puffed rice cereal, raisins, and mini chocolate chips. It is customizable, so if you are not a fan of raisins, you can use dried fruits. For more crunch, you can also add some nuts, but you might need to add more honey to bind them all together. Easy Homemade Cereal Bars Ingredients

  • 1 cup of peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 3 cups of cornflakes
  • 2 cups of puffed rice cereal
  • 1/2 cup of raisins
  • 1/4 cup of mini chocolate chips (optional)

How to Make Homemade Cereal Bars

Step 1:

In a microwave-safe bowl, add 1 cup of peanut butter and 1/4 cup of honey. Microwave in 30-second intervals until melted.

Step 2:

Add 3 cups of cornflakes, 2 cups of puffed rice cereal, and 1/2 cup of raisins. Mix until well combined.

Step 3:

Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper. Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking pan. Place in the refrigerator and chill until firm.
