Not only is this project easy and budget-friendly, but it also offers endless opportunities for customization and creativity. Ready to make your own pool noodle boat? Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.
Trim the PVC down to the length of the pool noodle, then insert one on each pool noodle. Once done, lay them down, then connect the bottom with t-connectors. Put corner connectors on each side, add another t-connector on top, and then connect with another PVC. Make another one of this for the other end of the boat. After this, take everything back apart and glue them all together using PVC cement.
Before gluing the top PVC, measure out a piece of pool noodle and slide the PVC in. Next, add the sidebars by connecting two PVC with pool noodles on each side. Now, interlace the section where the pool noodles separate with paracord to keep everything together nice and tight. Protect the end of the boat frame from hitting the dock or rock by sliding a pool noodle that has been cut lengthwise.
