Get one strip from four colors, then sew them together to make a block. Press flat then square into a 4.33-inch block. Repeat with the remaining strips of the same colors.
Get one strip each from the 2 remaining colors, then sew them together. Repeat with the remaining strips of the same colors.
Cut the square blocks in half diagonally from corner to corner.
Get half the triangles and sew them into the 2 unit blocks like in the photo below.
Get the 3.54″ squares and cut them in half diagonally.
Place one small triangle between the triangle and the rectangle, lining the slanted part to the slanted part of the triangle below. Sew on the top slanted part and press open. Cut the excess. Repeat with the other triangles.
Arrange the blocks just like in the photo below. Sew them in pairs first, then sew the two big triangles together to make the block.
