To make homemade creme brulee, you only need egg yolk, vanilla ice cream, and sugar. It is super easy to prepare but may take hours before it is ready to be served. The reason behind this is that you need to let the mixture cool to get the consistency we are looking for. Trust me, it is absolutely worth making. I know you will love it.

Note: You can use different flavors of ice cream. Try chocolate, strawberry, matcha, or coffee-flavored creme brulee.
Add a large scoop of vanilla ice cream to a microwave-safe bowl. Melt in the microwave for 40 seconds. Stir with a spoon, then set aside to cool.
Once cooled, add the egg yolk and whisk until well combined. Transfer the mixture to a ramekin.
Place the ramekin on a round baking pan then fill with hot water. Using kitchen mittens, place the pan inside your oven and bake at 325F for 45 minutes. Once done baking, put it in the refrigerator and let it chill for 3 hours.
Sprinkle some white sugar on top. Tilt the ramekin to spread the sugar. Make sure to cover the whole top.
Using a blowtorch, burn the sugar on top. If you don’t have a blowtorch, you can place it in your oven at the highest rack and broil.
