What I love most about this recipe is that it does not require baking so you can make it with the kids. It’s a great way to spend quality time with your whole family. Aside from that, you can also customize this recipe. If you are not a fan of cherries, you can use raisins, apricots, or berries. You can also add more crunch by adding chopped nuts. Give these treats a try!

Notes:

  • You can also use puffed rice cereal or granola instead of cornflakes.

How to Make Chocolate Cornflake Clusters

Step 1:

Add 3 cups of cornflakes into a large bowl. Crush them a little bit with your hands.

Step 2:

Add 1/2 cup of dried cherries to the cornflakes.

Step 3:

Place 2/3 cup of the chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and melt using the double boiler method. Chop the remaining chocolate into small pieces, then add to the melted chocolate. Keep stirring until melted. This method will make chocolate shiny.

Step 4:

Add the melted chocolate to the cornflake mixture. Mix until well combined.
