It was super easy to make and the steps are very simple to follow, and I’m sure that even beginners can do this perfectly on their first try. You can play with all the fabric prints and colors that you want in this project, watch the video tutorial now, and see for yourself!
Step 1
Cut the background and colored fabric into 15¾-inch squares, stack them together with their right sides facing, and stitch on all 4 sides. Cut them diagonally from both directions to make 4 half-square triangles, press the seams toward the darker fabric, and trim them into 10-inch squares.
Step 2
Cut the denim into a 12-inch strip, then lay the fusible on its wrong side, and press it down to fuse. Take the ruler template and place it on top of the fusible side, then cut along the shape, and remove the paper at the back.
Step 3
Place the curved piece in the center of the half-square triangle, then iron it in place, and topstitch along the curve’s edges. Cut the accent fabric to 2.5-inch square, then line it diagonally, and place it on the corner of the background fabric. Stitch along the drawn line, then trim off the excess layers and press the fabric open.
Step 4
Make 3 more identical pieces, then arrange them together until a colored diamond at the center forms, and start stitching them together making sure to press the seams as you go. Now, continue to make more of this block in different colors and finish your quilt however you want.
