This old-school hurricane breakfast casserole by OLD SCHOOL SOUL FOOD is packed with all your breakfast favorites. You have the egg, bacon, sausage, ham, and cheese. It is so delicious, comforting, and filling. If you are wondering, it is called that way because it was created during a hurricane in 2008. This dish is great for gatherings or big families as it can feed 6 to 8 people.

This casserole dish is super easy to make since you will be puff pastry. You don’t need to spend a lot of time in the kitchen making this recipe, as it comes together very quickly. We already had this for breakfast several times, and it is always a hit. Even the kids will surely enjoy this dish. It is packed with cheese and meat – definitely a must-try.

Roll out the puff pastry and fit into a 9 x 13 casserole dish.
In a large bowl, mix eggs and cream together.
Add the other ingredients except sliced deli cheese to the mixture and mix until well combined.
Prick the bottom of the puff pastry and place 6 slices of cheese on top. Pour the egg mixture, then top with another 6 slices of cheese. Roll out the other puff pastry on top.
Pinch the puff pastry together and brush the top with egg wash. Using a fork, score holes on top.
Place inside the oven and bake at 400F for about 20 to 25 minutes. Once done baking, let it sit for 10 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
