First, pour in a quarter of a cup or more down the drain, then take a thin cleaning brush, and push it down the drain. Start scrubbing the drain nicely and loosen up all of the dirt and buildup, if you have a disposal, then you’re going to get underneath that gasket. Make sure to clean and scrub every gap and part of the drain until you’ve cleaned all the side walls, then scrub down the P-trap, and give it a good rinse. Do this a few more times or as needed until you’ve reached the desired result.
