What I like about air fryer recipes is the minimal preparation needed, then just dumping them all and waiting for them to cook. It also produces healthy dishes that your family will surely love. One of my go-to air fryer recipes is this chicken with peppers from Simple Recipes Kitchen on YouTube. It’s a simple dinner idea you can make on a busy weeknight.

You’ll only need chicken breasts and bell peppers for this recipe, and you can absolutely substitute or omit some of the seasonings. It’s also budget-friendly, and you can throw in the veggies from your fridge that you need to use soon. Check out the video below to learn the step by step instructions.
To start, cut the chicken breast into strips. After this, transfer it to a mixing bowl and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp paprika powder, 1/2 tsp dried thyme, and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Mix well, making sure the chicken strips are properly coated with seasonings. Add some vegetable oil, then set aside.

Next, cut one red, green, and yellow bell pepper into strips. Transfer them to a mixing bowl and season with ground black pepper and salt to taste (add a bit of vegetable oil as well). Toss them. Now, transfer the chicken strips into the air fryer basket and air fry them at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes. (Stir it every five minutes to ensure even cooking.) After 15 minutes, add the bell peppers. Air fry for a further 5 minutes, stirring after two minutes. Serve and enjoy!
