Step 1
Get a spray bottle, then fill it with some all-purpose cleaning vinegar, and spray it generously on the area with the sticker residue. Brush it to allow the product to get into the fibers of the fabric and loosen up the sticky substance at the same time.
Step 2
Let it sit for a couple of minutes to an hour depending on how long you can wait, then drizzle the Dawn dish soap directly onto the fabric, and scrub it with the toothbrush until most of the sticky residue is done. Wash the item as usual, then repeat the application process as needed or until desired results are reached.

Step 3
If there is still sticky residue left or if you want a more potent solution or approach, then get a Goo Gone, and spray it directly and generously on the area. Let it sit for a while, then give it a good scrub with the toothbrush, and launder it as usual.
