Since it was my favorite, I wondered if I could try and recreate it at home, and that’s when I found this easy recipe by Recipes of the world on YouTube. It’s very easy to follow and it tastes just as good as the original.
Step 1
Add the chicken strips in a bowl, then pour in the buttermilk, and season them with salt, red chili powder, red chili flakes, garlic powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, paprika, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined, then cover the bowl, and set it aside to marinate for about 30 to 40 minutes.
Step 2
Once the chicken is ready to cook, add the flour to a large bowl and prepare clean water in a separate bowl. Using tongs, pick the marinated chicken strips one by one, then coat them well with the flour, and shake off the excess using a strainer as demonstrated in the video.

Step 3
Dip the coated chicken in water, then put it back in the flour, and coat once more making sure to shake off the excess. Heat oil in a pan, then deep fry the chicken in batches to not overcrowd the pan, and cook them until crispy and golden brown.
Step 4
Get the cooked chicken out of the oil with a strainer, then transfer them to a plate lined with a paper towel to drain off all the excess oil, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
