I love chocolate chip cookies but I’m not a big fan of chewy and hard ones, I prefer them soft just like this version by Emojoie on YouTube. These chocolate chip cookies are super easy to make and this no-fail recipe helps even beginners make it right the first try.

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, add the softened butter, sugar, and salt, then cream and fold them together until well mixed, beat the egg, and add half to the mixture. Mix until well combined, then add the remaining half of the beaten egg, and continue to mix.

Add the vanilla and mix it in until incorporated, then add the flour and baking powder, and continue to fold until smooth dough forms. Chop the chocolate, then add them to the dough along with the nuts, and fold until evenly combined.

Step 3
Put it in the refrigerator, then let it chill for about 1 hour, when ready, remove it from the fridge, and scrape the dough nicely. Give it a good mix, then divide it into 4 equal parts, and shape each one into a ball.
Step 4
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then space them evenly, and top them with more chopped chocolates pressing them down. Place them in a preheated oven at 190°C or 375°F, then let them bake for about 13 to 14 minutes, and serve. Enjoy!
