These are definitely the best gooey salted caramel brownies you can ever have. It’s sweet, salty, and buttery – the perfect combination. Each bite is moist and delicious. I’m sure one slice won’t be enough! You’ll keep on getting one until there is nothing left. I made this a couple of times already. It’s super easy to make, and it always turns out good. In a mixing bowl, add 3/4 cup of butter, 1 cup of sugar, and 1/2 cup of brown sugar. Whisk everything to combine. Next, add 3 eggs and 3/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Beat well.
Sift 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt directly to the same bowl to remove any lumps. Mix everything until well combined.
Stir in 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, then transfer half of the mixture to a mold lined with parchment paper. Spread evenly.
Add 3 cups of soft caramel candies on top of the mixture, then add the remaining mixture on top. Spread evenly on top.
Place inside the oven and bake at 350F for about 35 minutes. Once done baking, let them cool.
Add the remaining caramel candies in a bowl and 1/4 cup of heavy cream. Microwave for a minute in 30-second intervals. Stir until the caramel is melted.
Pour the caramel mixture to the brownies and spread it evenly. Let it set for about 10 minutes.
Remove from the mold and take off the parchment paper. Sprinkle salt on top and slice into squares. Enjoy!
