This recipe by Whip It Up With Jay on YouTube looks mouth-watering and easy to prepare, and I know that I have to give it a try. It was one of the best dishes I’ve ever made and I might make it more often from now on, and I had to share it with my family because I know they will love this dish as much as I did. If you also want to learn how, then watch the video tutorial, and give it a try!
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces of Linguine pasta
- 1 tsp of olive oil
- 8 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp of minced garlic
- 1 pound of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tbsp of cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes
- Juice of ½ lemon
- A splash of white cooking wine
- Freshly chopped curly parsley
- Parmesan cheese, optional
Directions:
Step 1
Place a pot of water on a stove over medium-high heat, bring it to a rolling boil, and sprinkle some salt. Add the pasta, then allow it to cook for about 7 minutes until al dente, and drain off all the water. Place a skillet pan on a stove over medium heat, add some olive oil and butter, and let it melt.

Step 2
Add the minced garlic, then bring it to a simmer while stirring occasionally, add the shrimp, and season them with cajun seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Give them a good stir to combine and distribute the seasonings evenly, then add the cooking wine, and add in the drained pasta.
Step 3
Give them a good toss until well mixed, then sprinkle the chopped parsley, and give them a final mix. Turn off the heat, then plate the pasta, and sprinkle some parmesan cheese all over the top. Serve and enjoy!
