Glaze
Step 1
Cut the pork roast along the grain into 2-inch thick strips lengthwise, then in a small mixing bowl, mash the red bean curd until there are no more chunks, add the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, five-spice powder, honey, Chinese cooking wine, ground white pepper, sesame oil, garlic, and whisk them all together until combined. Pour the marinade over the pork, then give them a good mix until combined, and let it marinade in the fridge for about 24 to 48 hours, make sure to turn the pork halfway through the marination time to make sure that they are evenly seasoned. Preheat your oven to 190°C or 375°F (with fan) or 200°C or 400°F (no fan), then line a baking sheet with aluminum foil, and place a wire rack on it.

Step 2
Place the marinated pork over the rack, then put it in the preheated oven, and allow it to roast for 15 minutes. In a small mixing bowl, mix together the honey and red bean curd liquid or cooked leftover marinade, then brush it generously all over the pork, and put them back in the oven to roast for another 5 to 7 minutes or until the glaze has dried onto the pork. Repeat glazing and roasting the pork for about 5-7 minutes for 2 more times, it should be a total of 30 minutes of cooking time. Once the pork is browned to your liking, let the pork rest for about 10 to 15 minutes, then slice them, and serve. Enjoy!
