Root beers have this sweet, salty, and bitter taste that a lot of people love. It just has this unique and complex flavor that is unlike other sodas. That’s why it’s great for dessert recipes! One of my favorites is this 5-ingredient root beer float pie recipe by Tasty. It’s incredibly delicious and creamy. Plus, it’s super easy to prepare! You’ll only need a couple of minutes to make this pie, and all you have to do next is wait until it’s set. That’s it! No need to bake or cook anything. How fast is that? Add 8 oz of heavy whipping cream to a bowl and whip until fluffy and stiff peaks form.
In a different mixing bowl, add 12 oz of root beer, 1/4 cup of milk, and 1 box of vanilla pudding mix. Whisk until well combined. It should have a caramel color.
Add the whipped cream to the root beer mixture and fold until well incorporated.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared graham cracker crust and spread evenly.
Place the pie in the freezer for four hours or refrigerate overnight. Once the pie is set, slice it into pieces and place one on a plate. Add whipped cream and sprinkles on top, if preferred. Serve immediately and enjoy!
