How to Remove Sticker Residue From Any Surface

Nothing is more frustrating than peeling a sticker carefully, and it suddenly tears apart. Sometimes, no matter how hard you scratch, it’s still there! Out of my frustration, I searched online and found this tutorial by Quality Logo Products. This will teach you how to remove sticker residue from any surface. Make sure you save this post so you know what to do when you encounter the same problem next time.
Glass
Option 1: Start by filling your sink or large container with hot water and pour in a cup of washing soda. Submerge the glass and let it soak for a couple of minutes. Your sticker will slider right off.
Option 2: Soak a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover, or vegetable oil. Gently press it to the sticker, and let it sit overnight. the following day, peel the sticker off the glass using a razor blade. This will scrape away any remaining residue.
Wood
Soak a piece of cloth in white vinegar and lay it over the sticker. Let it sit for 5 minutes. After that, gently peel off the sticker.

Metal
Option 1: Using a credit card, gently scratch off the adhesive. Apply a small amount of WD-40 onto a cloth, then rub it on the sticker until it peels away.
Option 2: In a container, mix a tablespoon of coconut oil and a tablespoon of baking soda. Apply the mixture to the residue using your finger then wipe it away with a wet cloth.
Plastic
Get a cotton swab and soak it with cooking oil. Use it to saturate the sticker, then let it sit for about 5 minutes. Rinse it off using warm soapy water, then peel the sticker.
Fabric
Get a high-quality detergent and rub it onto the area. Next, wash the garment according to the tag. If there is still some residue, use rubbing alcohol, then wash it again.
Ceramics
Pour some white vinegar into a bowl and heat it up in the microwave. Submerge your item or dunk a cloth in the hot vinegar and drape it over your item. Let it sit for about 15 to 30 minutes. After that, peel the sticker off starting with the corner.
Cardboard
Dip cotton balls in rubbing alcohol and place them on the sticker. Insert the tip of a razor blade beneath the corner of the sticker. Carefully lift the corner of the sticker until completely removed.
