Did you accidentally get your clothes stained with ballpoint ink? This usually happens when you leave your pen in your pocket, and it suddenly leaks. It can’t be removed with your usual soap and water, but there’s a simple trick that you can do. Just follow these steps by House Keeper on Youtube.
To remove ballpoint ink from clothes, you need a few products. Most of these are already in your house, so you no longer need to go out and buy them. My kids drew on my favorite white top, and I was desperate to remove the stains. I tried this hack, and it surprisingly worked! I was so happy that it got removed in just a few minutes. Add a few drops of vinegar to the ballpoint ink stain.
Add some salt on top, followed by some white toothpaste.
Use the toothbrush to scrub the stain, mixing the ingredients together. Keep on scrubbing until the fabric absorbs the mixture and the stain lightens a little bit. Make sure you don’t scrub it too hard, as you don’t want to rip the fabric.
Add some warm water to a container, then place the garment. Let it soak for about 15 minutes.
Rinse the fabric and wash as you normally would. If it still has some stain, just repeat the whole process and let it soak for a longer time.
