Cut the sausage about 1/2″ thick. To make the shot glasses, wrap one strip of bacon around the sausage slice. Secure it with a toothpick. Repeat with the remaining sausages.
Add 1 block of cream cheese, 3/4 cup of shredded cheese, diced jalapeno, and 1 tablespoon of barbecue seasoning in a large bowl. Mix it all until well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a ziplock bag or piping bag. Grab one pig shot and squeeze it into the center. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
Sprinkle more of the bbq seasoning on top of the pig shots.
Set up your grill at around 275 to 300 degrees.
Add the pig shots onto the grill rack. You can add hickory wood to the coals for a little smoky flavor. Close the lid and cook for about 60 minutes.
Drizzle barbecue sauce on the pig shots while it’s still on the grill. Close the lid again and continue to cook for about 7 to 10 minutes to allow the sauce to set.
Remove the toothpicks and serve. Enjoy these yummy appetizers!
