It’s surprisingly easy to make and only needs seven ingredients that you probably already have in your kitchen. What’s more, it’s a no-bake recipe’ perfect if you don’t have an oven at home. You can also store it in the fridge and keep it fresh for up to five days. Learn the full recipe in the video below.
Line your baking dish with parchment paper and set it aside. Next, melt 1 cup of chocolate chips and 1 cup of smooth natural peanut butter in a double boiler. Keep stirring it until everything is well incorporated. Once all are nicely incorporated, remove it from the heat and set it aside. For the oat bar crust, melt 3/4 cup butter in a sauce pot, and once it has melted, add 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 1/4 tsp salt. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes cohesive. When it starts to smell caramel, go ahead and add 1 tsp vanilla extract and 3 cups quick-cooking oats. Mix well together.

Now it’s time to assemble the oat bars. Put about two-thirds of the oat mixture into the lined baking dish and press it down using the back of the measuring cup. Once you’ve got that first layer down, go ahead and pour about three-quarters of the chocolate peanut butter mixture. Smooth it out in a nice even layer. Next, add another layer of the oats mixture, but this time create a crumble topping, then drizzle another layer of chocolate peanut butter on top. Let the bars set in the fridge for two hours. After this, cut it into squares and serve.
