This honey stir-fried shrimp with garlic and onion is an easy and delicious lunch or dinner dish for your whole family. No need to go out to buy Chinese takeout as you can easily cook it at home with this recipe by cooking together. It’s full of flavors that you haven’t tried before. After peeling the skin and deveining your shrimp, rinse them with cold water.
Make the marinade. In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of soy sauce, honey, juice of 1 lime, 1 tablespoon of garlic ginger paste, and salt. Mix everything until well combined.
Add the prepared shrimp and mix until they are well-coated. Set aside and let them rest for about half an hour.
Add a little bit of oil to a pan. Once hot, add the chopped vegetables and cook until soft and tender. Set them aside on a plate or bowl. Do not turn off the heat.
Strain the shrimp and set aside the marinate. Add them to the same pan. Cook for about 3 to 4 minutes until it’s pink. Make sure not to overcook it, as it will become chewy.
Add the cooked vegetables and 3 to 4 tablespoons of the marinade. Mix well and it’s done.
Serve it with rice and enjoy it with your family!
