Your window blinds can get yellow over time because of the sun and when you’ve neglected cleaning them for a long time. Not only does it start to look really dirty but it can also be very bad for your own health because the grease, gunk, and other buildups on the blinds can be a breeding ground for bacteria. So, if you hate going through all the processes of cleaning your blinds such as taking them down, scrubbing, letting them dry, and then putting them back up, then you must try this quick and easy way by Clean My Space on YouTube that will make your blinds sparkling clean in just a few minutes.
Step 1
The first thing that you have to do is to remove as much dust as you can using either a duster, vacuum, microfiber cloth, or a sock turned inside out. For vertical blind slats, clean from top to bottom, then for horizontal, clean from left to right, and use a brush attachment if using a vacuum. In a large bowl or bucket, add about 3 drops of dish soap, then fill it with warm water, and dunk your microfiber cloth.

Step 2
Wring the cloth well until it’s damp and dry, then twist the blind slat so they lie completely flat, and wipe away from top to bottom for vertical or left to right for horizontal. Pinch the cloth around each slat and pull all of the dirt away, then rinse the cloth in the cleaning mixture, and repeat wiping as needed. For heavier grease, gunk, or buildup, add about 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the mixture to help release and loosen the dirt.
