In a big bowl, add 4 egg yolks, 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
Add 1/3 cup of cooking oil and 1/3 cup of milk to the mixture. Whisk until well combined.
Sift 3/4 cup of flour, 1/3 cup of cocoa powder, and 1 teaspoon of baking powder into the mixture to remove the lumps. Whisk until well combined. Set it aside.
In a separate bowl, put 4 white room-temperature eggs and beat for 1 minute. Continue whisking, while adding the sugar in batches until stiff peaks.
Fold the egg white gradually into the chocolate mixture.
Transfer the batter to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Spread evenly using a spatula, then thump to remove air.
Bake in a preheated oven at 356 F for 20 to 22 minutes.
Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes. Take it out from the tray and roll it while it’s warm.
Make the whipped cream. In a mixing bowl, combine whipping cream, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder. Beat until stiff peaks.
Open the rolled cake, and spread the whipped cream. Gently roll the cake.
In a bowl, combine the dark chocolate and hot milk. Mix until the chocolate is melted.
Place the roll cake on a cooling rack with a plate or parchment paper on the bottom. Pour the chocolate mixture on top. Transfer to a serving plate and garnish with chocolate balls and whipped cream. Slice then serve. Enjoy!
