At a Christmas celebration, I always look forward to the appetizers or finger food. In my opinion, they are better than the main course on occasion. As a result, when I’m planning a party, I can’t help but become preoccupied with the idea of serving tasty appetizers to my guests while they wait for the main course to arrive. Appetizers are a great way to get folks excited about the rest of the meal while also allowing them to catch up with one another. They’re ideal for mingling with others. A YouTube video by Whippoorwill Holler, a couple who also live in a sustainable home, proved to be a great source of inspiration for me.
Celery and Cream Cheese Appetizer
Ingredients:
Directions:
Begin by applying a thin layer of cream cheese to the celery. Then spread the crackers with a layer of cream cheese on top. Instead of crackers, try using miniature bagel pieces from Walmart as an alternative source of carbs. After you’ve spread the cheese on the platter, gather your finger foods and arrange them on it. Bagel spice can be sprinkled on top of the celery and cheese crackers.
Sausage Balls
Ingredients:
Directions:
Form a ball out of the meat and cheese. Add the biscuit mix to the batter. Then there was the small packet of herbs included with the mix. Other herbs and spices can be included if desired. Then, all the ingredients are put into a bowl and mixed.
Afterward, you form the mixture into balls and store them in an airtight container. To freeze the balls, put them in a freezer-safe bag and seal it. On Christmas morning, just defrost them and re-heat them.
There you go. The more you prepare, the more likely it is that your visitors will ask for more. You can make these snacks in little time at all and they’ll be sure to impress your guests.
