This mouth-watering delicious cake has become a staple in my recipe book. It doesn’t contain flour either, so it is perfect for my gluten-free family members. All my friends even beg me to bring it. The strawberry crumbs around the edges give it that extra burst of flavor too. Boone Bake really nailed it with this recipe.

Melt and combine the white chocolate, unsalted butter and heavy cream in a bowl over boiling water. Be sure not to overheat because the chocolate will burn easily.
Crack four eggs into a new bowl and combine it with your sugar. Save the egg whites, you will need them in step four You should only add in the egg yolks. Once the two are evenly mixed, add a pinch of salt and your vanilla extract. Also, add in almond powder and corn starch.
Combine the two bowls of batter together. Place the bowl over warm water to keep the chocolate from hardening.
Beat 4 egg whites into a thick cream consistency. Once the eggs reach a white thick consistency, slowly add sugar into the mix while still whisking.
Combine the two batters again. Finally, spread the batter over wax paper onto a cookie sheet and place it in the oven at 375 degrees for 11-13 minutes.
Flip the cake out of the pan and over onto a cooling rack. Cut the cake into long strips and trim off the ends. Next, create your icing. This will be similar to the previous steps, just adding in much more whipping cream.
