Cleaning electronic screens like your TV and laptops is not the same as cleaning your glass windows. For example, it’s actually harmful when you clean your screen with commercial glass cleaners. But fret not, as Clean That Up has nine fantastic tips for you. I have tried and applied these methods, and I was surprised by how effective they are! Check out the video below to learn the following tips.
Before starting, make sure to unplug all screens and displays so it’s easier for you to clean as you’ll see the dirt more clearly.
Start cleaning by dusting with a dry microfiber towel.
Don’t use tissue paper, napkins, toilet paper, and paper towels as they will leave residues that could potentially scratch the screen.
Glass cleaners are not suitable for electronics and could possibly ruin your TV.

Instead of using glass cleaners, just use water when cleaning your TV screen. (Distilled water if possible as it doesn’t carry any minerals.)
Remember to not directly spray water on your TV screen or over-wet it as moisture could seep in internally.
Use a damp towel with water wring out well, then start wiping on one end gently, then work your way across the screen. Once done, wipe again with a dry microfiber towel to dry out the surface.
Combine a few drops of dish soap with water in a spray bottle. Spray it on your microfiber towel and gently spot-clean those dirty areas.
If you need to disinfect your screen, do a quick Google search to check with the manufacturer on what exactly they recommend.
