Instead of throwing away so many things, I always try my best to recycle them. So when I found this very helpful video from HGTV Handmade on Youtube, I was ecstatic. I now have more ideas on how to repurpose some stuff in our storage. I will definitely invite some of my friends this coming weekend and we will try some of these recycling ideas. Don’t throw your things away! Watch the video below to also learn how to recycle your old things.
#1 Medicine Bottles
These bottles are airtight, making them a good place to store your hide-a-key; so much more secure than under the mat.
#2 Egg Crate
Egg crates could be repurposed as desk organizers.
#3 Baby Food Jar
If you have lots of these, you can paint them and add a knob, turning them into little food storage.
#4 Coffee Can
Cover your coffee can with colored paper, design it however you like, and use it as a storage container for plastic storage bags. Cut the lid into an “X” to pull out the plastic bags.

#5 Plastic Straws
You can recycle your plastic straws into geometric planters.
#6 Stained Shirt
You can repurpose your stained shirts into so many things, but for the sleeves, you can turn them into a cute gift bag.
#7 Drink Carrier
Turn your drink carrier into gift boxes, craft carriers, or even condiment holders.
#8 Glass Bottle
You can always repurpose old bottles into something you want to keep instead of throwing them away, like turning them into cute plant holders.
#9 Candle Jar
Just remove the old wax and turn your candle jar into a gift holder. Just fill them with small gifts, wrap them, then it’s good to go.
