If you ask me what’s the best season to clean, I will say Spring. It’s the season when I’m most motivated to have a general cleaning of my house. While looking for cleaning tips on Youtube the other day, I found this super helpful video from Clutterbug. With these following tips, cleaning my whole house during Spring would be much easier and quicker. Watch the video below to learn the following.
Clean your mattress by sprinkling baking soda over it, let it sit for a while, then vacuum it.
Pop your pillows into the dryer to make them dust-free, then add a couple of drops of lavender to a sponge and throw it in. This will help disinfect your pillows and have them smelling so good.
Don’t clean your walls by washing them with soap and water, instead, spray some endust on your duster and start cleaning at the top and work your way to the bottom. You can also clean light fixtures with this.
For dusting soft things like your fabric headboard or lampshades, use a sticky roller. For curtains, you can vacuum them instead of using sticky rollers.

When cleaning the wall in your kitchen above the stove, make sure to use vinegar and water solution to eliminate stains and other sticky stuff. Wipe your cupboards as well.
Spring season is the perfect time to give your windows a nice wash.
When washing your screens, do it inside the shower. Spray them with a foaming cleanser and scrub them to get any cobwebs or whatever stuck to them, then rinse them properly.
When cleaning the inside of the windows, use a foaming glass cleaner and a microfiber towel or newspaper.
