1 – Make white shoes white again
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda
- 1/2 tablespoon of water
- 1/2 tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide
Start by mixing the three ingredients in a container, then use an old toothbrush to scrub it into your shoes. Float on a second coat. Don’t forget the laces! Place it in an area with enough sunlight and let the mixture sit for 3 to 4 hours. After that, use a clean dry toothbrush to remove the residue.
2 – A scrubber that grows on trees

Slice a grapefruit in half and add some kosher salt to the flesh. Scrub it on your sink or utensils to remove dirt and grime, then rinse with water.
3 – Don’t let plastic bags ruin your day

Use an old tissue holder to store your plastic bags. Lay your plastic bag flat then fold it in half. Next, roll the plastic bag, right before you come to the end, add another one and roll. Repeat with the remaining ones, then place them inside the tissue holder.

4 – Chemical-free cleaning

- 1/2 cup of water
Slice the lemon in half, then add 1/2 cup of water in a microwavable safe bowl. Squeeze the juice and place the lemon in the bowl. Put in the microwave and set the timer to 3 minutes. After that, wait for 5 minutes before you wipe the residue.
5 – Crispy chips forever
Lay the top part of the opened chips flat, then fold the corners toward the center, making a cone shape. Fold the top part several times then flip it to the back.
6 – Pods for your potty
- 1 cup of baking soda
- 1/4 cup of citric acid
- 1 tablespoon of dish soap
Combine the baking soda and citric acid in a small container, then gradually add the dish soap. Take small pieces and fill the ice cube tray. Let it dry for 4 hours before using.
7 – Bust that rust
- vinegar
- 1 part baking soda
- 2 parts of water
- coconut oil
Soak your tool in vinegar, then use a brush to scrub the rust. After that, soak it in a baking soda with water solution for 5 minutes. Rinse with water, pat dry, then coat with coconut oil for protection.
