Ingredients:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup slightly salted butter (or unsalted)
  • 1/3 cup sugar + 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups of cake flour (or all-purpose flour)

Directions:

Step 1

Grease and flour a 5-cup bundt pan. In a bowl, add 1 cup of slightly salted butter, 1/3 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk. Mix until light and fluffy. Scrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, then add 4 egg yolks. Mix again until well incorporated. Next, sift 2 cups of cake flour in two addition. Mix well just until combined.

Step 2

Beat 4 egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar in a bowl until stiff peaks. Add a dollop of beaten egg whites to the batter and fold. Add the rest of the beaten egg whites and fold until incorporated. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake it in a preheated oven at 325 degrees F for 40 to 45 minutes. After baking, allow it to cool for 30 minutes before removing it from the pan.
