To make this banana cream pie, you need a pie crust, banana pudding mix, milk, whipped cream, and bananas. Since this recipe uses a pie crust, it will make the process faster compared to using crushed biscuits or making a homemade crust. Ready-made pie crust is the way to go if you don’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. It’s incredibly easy to make. The only hard part is waiting for the filling to chill, which will take about 3 hours.

Start by preheating the oven to 450F or 230C.
Place the refrigerated pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Using a fork, poke holes around the bottom of the crust.
Place the crust inside the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Once done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
In a large mixing bowl, add banana pudding mix and milk. Whisk vigorously until it becomes thick. This will take about 2 minutes.
Fold in 2 cups of whipped cream to the bowl.
Get the cooled crust, and cover the bottom with banana slices.
Transfer the pudding and whipped cream mixture over the banana slices. Spread evenly. Place in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 3 hours.
Add 1 cup of whipped cream mixture on top and spread it evenly. Decorate the pie with the remaining banana slices.
Slice it, transfer it to a plate, drizzle caramel sauce on top if preferred, and serve. Enjoy.
