#2 Degrease Gready Hair

If you ever put too much hair product or done some oily treatment on your scalp and it’s washing out, you can use dish soap. Simply pour a generous amount into your hair, scrub it, then rinse it off with water.

#3 DIY Gel Ice Packs

Grab a zipper-lock bag, fill it about 3/4 of the way full with dish soap, and throw it in the freezer. This ice pack won’t actually freeze but gets a little crunchy and will retain the cool from the freeze.

#4 Unclog the Toilet

Squeeze about a cup of dish soap directly into the bowl to lubricate whatever is causing the clog and the pipes around the clog. After this, add as much hot water as you can without overfilling the toilet. Leave it for some time, then dump another bucket of hot water into it. Once done, flush it all down.

#5 DIY Counter Cleaner

Combine 2 cups of water, a small squirt of dish soap, and 10 drops of your favorite essential oil. Shake the bottle well and use this whenever you’re cleaning your counter.
