I served it last weekend at a family gathering, and it was a total hit. Everyone loved it and asked me to make a second batch. It’s creamy, sweet, and addicting!   • 8.8 oz of dark chocolate
  • 1 3/4 cups of sweetened whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1/4 cup of whipping cream
  • cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Step 1:

Start by slicing the dark chocolate into very small pieces, then transfer to a heat-proof bowl and add 1/4 cup of butter.

Step 2:

Fill a small pot with water and let it come to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat. Place the bowl with chocolate and butter on top of the pot. Mix with a silicone spatula until melted and smooth.

Step 3:

Add 1/4 cup of whipping cream to the chocolate and mix with a spatula until well incorporated.

Step 4:

In a large bowl, add 1 3/4 cups of sweetened whipping cream and beat until peaks form using a handheld mixer. If you are using unsweetened whipping cream, add one tablespoon of sugar.

Step 5:

If your chocolate mixture is in a small bowl, transfer it to a large bowl. Gradually add the whipped cream to the chocolate mixture, then fold after every addition using a silicone spatula.

Step 6:

Once the whipped cream is well incorporated, it should have a thick consistency. Transfer it to a piping bag or plastic then cut the tip. Squeeze into glass cups, then spread it evenly and flatten the top using the back of a spoon. Place them in the fridge and let them chill for about 1 to 2 hours before serving. You can also garnish it with cocoa powder if desired. Enjoy!
