These little circles of goodness from TheCooknShare on Youtube will be a total hit in the family. It’s quick and easy and only needs four ingredients to make; perfect for a cup of coffee, milk, or even tea. And did I mention that they’re super delicious; they’ll be gone in an instant? Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step-by-step process.

Ingredients:

  • 1 & 1/2 cups of self-rising flour
  • 2 tbsp of white granulated sugar (+ 1/4 cup for the coating)
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon
  • oil for frying

Directions:

Step 1

In a bowl, combine 1 & 1/2 cups of self-rising flour and 2 tbsp of white granulated sugar. Whisk it to combine. After this add 3/4 cup of milk, then mix it until the dough forms. Now, grab up some of the mixture, place it in the palm of your hand, and roll it into a ball. Set it aside on a plate and repeat this process for the rest of the dough mixture. Next, heat up some oil for frying and place a batch of your doughnuts in. Fry them up until they’re golden brown.

Step 2

Once the doughnuts are nicely browned up, remove them from the pan and set them aside on a wire rack lined underneath with parchment paper. For the cinnamon sugar mix, combine 1/4 cup of granulated white sugar and 1/2 tbsp of cinnamon. Mix it. After this, roll the doughnuts in the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat them.
